A good friend of mine whose opinion I respected very much just sent me these two pictures from London to stimulate my determination to continue doing what I am doing. I decided to quickly pen something down because I knew people are reading this blog out there.
Please look at the pictures closely and learn something about life. Where you are today is not as important as where you are going, work on your personal brand, it takes time but it has greater rewards. These are the lessons I learnt.

1. Build your image: do not leave your image to chances, manage your image and character
2.
Develop your mental capacity; it takes sound mental alertness to recognize opportunity when it comes
3.
Network: Increase your chances of success by proper networking. Give to your network do not be a taker.
4
. Public speaking: learn to speak well in front of crowd. Do not keep quiet when you should speak. It is important to know how to communicate well. The use of choice word for every situation is important. Have a goal for every communication and work on achieving that goal by the choice of words used and note very well the advantage that is accruable when you know when to pause; use Para-linguistic features.

5. Believe in yourself: today your neighborhood may be in the hamlet, tomorrow you may be in the Whitehouse. Nobody may not want to listen to you now but you can command attention after sometimes of hard work and dedication. I see a new generation of Obamas in your own niche.Be that Obama!
