Just a little break in between and there is this timely thought running on my head and I decided to pen it down. In case I may need it someday and peradventure it may help someone out here.
There is one business advantage that many know of and that is competitive advantage.
The other very vital advantage that many are not aware of is what I called TSA-Time saving advantage. If we know we can save a lot of time by just being the brand that people want to buy, will we invest into that?
Just as competitive advantage works, time saving advantage also works. We can save a whole lot of time associated with marketing, pitching and sales activities when we have become a brand that clients want to buy. People will not ask you questions again when you have become the icon.
You do not spend time trying to prove that you are capable when you are already the brand. Your reliability and capacity to function is often taken as given.
So let us ask ourselves, what can we do today that will make us different? Always remembering that no one will be interested in a brand whose owners are not. We all have personal responsibility to build and position our brands. There is payback when we invest the right energy.
Let me outline what it takes to gain time saving advantage.
1. Describe yourself without your title or office position.
2. Be the brand you are projecting.
3. Promote the brand
