brand-network1brand-network2Many times we all hear the old but true clichés, your network is your net-worth. The same goes for it is not what you know but who knows you, knows what you do very well and can recommend you to others that counts. Many say they do not have any network because they do not know anyone. Therefore their efforts have been solo without any support from anyone. I suffered from this for long too. I used to believe that all you need to be is to be extremely good and show this to the world. In a recent article, an expert says that having a network is not only sufficient but using the network well will give a greater boost to personal brand as well as corporate brands efforts. Following the principle that an average person knows 250 individuals, not annexing this wealth can be disastrous. It is often said that individual is four people away from any contact he wants to meet. The power of brand networks makes that easy. Today let us examine the benefits of brand network or association.

1. Support group: a well-nurtured network often serves as a support group for the brand any day, particularly on the day of trouble. They can afford a leaning edge when you need one

2. Source of information: brand network provides vital information as at when due. A brand can not have all the information at its disposal per time. The advantage of a vibrant network is to provide information they have when you utilize, appreciate the network often.

3. Source of job lead: Your brand network can be a source of job lead for you. They may know someone or a place where there is openings that may need your skill.

4. A source of actual business: a referral about a great job lead can save your brand from unnecessary job hunt.
