Today, there is no denying the fact that we live in an over communicated world. Some experts called this 360 degree communication universe. An African monologue says ‘if a drummer is drumming in an uncoordinated way, the dancer will mix his step’. Today this is becoming true for most brands’ messages. Their messages are now being submerged into the noise of the sea because their messages, flutes are now being blown in ways that do not help their supposed dancers-niche.
To be effective, brand messages must be planned and implemented through strategies that can help achieve purpose. The economy is in difficult situation. Brand’s ability to communicate effectively today will help to achieve more. Niche needs encouragement, support, direction and high level of emotional walls that will help to stick to the brand today. A lot of complexities are now surrounding brand effective communication. The plethora of media, channels that are now available are huge. Knowledge and ability to integrate them well is in high demand from brand’s spokespersons. To be effective, brand message must have a goal, a target audience and a measuring standard so that the efforts can be measured.
In addition to this, message channels must be determined and proper understanding of why channels are the most effective for the target. Brand must be sure it understands the context, preserve relationships, and proactively anticipate the message receivers’ response. The message must also present credible and reasonable voices to the message receivers.
