In our recent research to help push our brand up as one of the professional services brands in Nigeria and to give helping hands to other thriving or struggling professional services brands, I came across Jeff Swystun article and I believe it will worth our consideration

1. Have a clear business strategy: the brand will do well focusing its energy in one offering instead of many. Many successful professional services brands do not take on too many services. The history is there for those who care.

2. Have a clear organization policy: Professional services brand must have a strong brand’s bible that guides their policies in term of culture, clients’ relations etc

3. Make sure you build strong brands: Professional services brand must build strong perception in its market. When there is request for proposal, strong professional brands whose perceptions are great often get the invitation. Strong brands make selling and operation easy.

4. Market with finesse: Today no one wants to be sold, they want to buy. People do not like being reduced to marketer’s data. Therefore get involve in networking, content marketing, establishing thought leadership, give speeches, share expert opinions, write articles, give some sort of free seminars, blog, podcasts and build strong commitment that can help spread positive WOM. These often build affinity and produce sales lead.
