Ignite your visionBrand visionWow, 2010 is almost gone. For some people, this year is the best of the year that has ever happened to them all-around. But it is not out of place to see some in the majority who are still looking at their goals with a feeling of when will I tick these goals as accomplished.

As an optimist, I will say the days ahead are still enough to push stuffs to reality. But on the other hand, I must say you have been a great guy to have set goals for the year. That is irrespective of whether they have been accomplished or not. Not many people have set any meaningful goal. They are tired and could not see a good reason to start afresh.

Let me say that personal branding is not a destination but a journey. So you do not expect to achieve it overnight. Do not let go of your vision now because it appears the dots are not connecting at the speed you expect them to. You are a winner for daring to start at all. This piece today is all about those who want to let go because they feel they are not matching up with the Jones in the industry. Learn to wait as well as exercise patience especially when you have done your part.

Always remember the future you saw then and you were willing to pursue. Never assumed the efforts you have put in were in vain. Those little efforts have exposed your brands to untold numbers of global audience that you cannot imagine. I must say some of them might have never commended your efforts because of pressure on their times. Be assured someone may be following your interactions and communal spirit (online and offline).

So when you are tired and wanting to give up, like many other great people you admire once were, take a time to re-ignite your passion so you can reach your goals.

Take a nap: This may be a time to close you outer eyes to see with your inner eyes. This may mean taking a few days off. That does not kill or harm your future. That few days off can help refire your energy to go for gold.

Check your notes: Everyone has notes where they pen down what they intend to achieve. Some have written down great reasons that will make them strive for the goal. If you have any, it is time to look at those notes again. Check great reasons why you should build a great personal brand that you can still by. You may need to check your notes to find out if your strategies need amendment. Is there a need to refashion the strategy to what is workable? Also, check your motive. Hope it is not based on ‘a me- too’. That kills morale and passion fast.

Ask for help from your audience: There may be a need to find out from your audience what they wanted from you. Find out whether you are meeting their expectation. People want to support a course they are proud of. Are you making the brand’s audience proud by your attitudes? Are you involving your network as you should? Or you expect them to know what they should do? When you ask for help, it shows you are willing to listen. Listening helps you to tap the right signals.

Have courage to dream the impossible: To re-ignite your passion, you may need courage to dream again and trust the infinite being to help you achieve the impossible. Like Coralita Martine wrote in her book ‘Courage To dream Again’ …  an angel with provision, friends of mercy, and doors of opportunity usually helped. Do not forget personal branding is an opportunity to influence others. As you do this diligently, you will always find people who want to see you succeed.

Do not forget to put best image forward: If you allow the dwindling passion to affect the way you present yourself to your world, it will be obvious to all that you are no longer relevant to them. They may also feel you are like them. People are attracted only to what inspire them. Keep being an inspiration. The feedback will help you to go forward. This is enough for today.     You can actually start a successful business with your own unless you have enough idea how to make your business achieve your goal. It is also better if you have back up plans for the preparation on some problem and challenges that may come on your business.

    certainly like your web-site but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will definitely come back again.
