Nigeria’s Covid-19 spike had been on the increase. For some reasons known to government, lockdown policy has been relaxed.

This poor decision was out of pressure as government was unable to provide any meaningful palliative that works.

Can you join me in making this campaign go viral #LetATMwork247
What I have seen in Lagos today showed many want to get cash and most ATMs weren’t working to the maximum capacity or not enough. Banks are also afraid of massive cash withdrawals.

Many branches, out of the few that opened had crowd at their doors.
The spike of Covid-19 will go up. We do not have resources if this happens.

If all ATMs have been working 247, there is possibility of low turnout. We will have customers who want to do other transactions only.
